Our Story

The Rhythm Industrial Complex is a Santa Barbara-based dance band blending afrobeat, funk, soul, reggae and other global grooves into high-energy live sets. Featuring horns, percussion and powerful vocals, the group performs a mix of original music and select covers built around extended rhythms and layered arrangements. Drawing influence from West African, Caribbean and American traditions, our sound emphasizes groove, movement and tight ensemble interplay.
